RIL has launched several electronic items at the 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM). For the first time, AGM is being organized through a new virtual platform Jio Meet. In this, Jio TV + and Jio Glass were launched. Apart from this, Jio has joined hands with Google to give better 5G internet speed to the country.
Jio Glass
Jio Glass provides users with the best-mixed reality services. With the help of Glass, teachers and students can take advantage of 3D virtual rooms and operate holographic classes in real-time through Jio Mixed Reality. For audio, it has a personalized audio system, in which there is no need to attach any kind of accessories. This system supports all audio formats. Jio Glass supports 25 applications. In this, calling can be done in 3D and 2D format.
JioTV + and Jio Mart also introduced
Jio also introduced JioTV +. According to the company, it will have content from the 12 best OTT companies in the world. These include Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney + Hotstar, Voot, SonyLiv, Zee5, JioCinema, JioSaavn, YouTube, and many other apps. Typically, these 12 OTT platforms require separate login but need not do so in Jio TV+. The content of any OTT platform can be viewed in a single click.
Jio Mart will soon have electronics, fashion, healthcare, pharmaceutical products in addition to groceries. Currently, only grocery shopping can be purchased on the beta version of JioMart. Presenting JioMart, Isha Ambani said that JioMart will convert existing grocery stores into self-stores within 48 hours. He said that JioMart will not only help the grocery stores to increase business but will also increase earnings.
Jio and Google together to make India 2G-free
Mukesh Ambani told in the AGM that Google and Jio together will create an operating system, which will be for the entry-level 4G/5G smartphone. Jio and Google together will make India 2G-free. Mukesh Ambani said that India stands at the door of the 5G era. Our effort will be to provide cheap smartphones to 35 crore Indians who currently using 2G phones.
